This is an elegant English George III period dark oak saltbox with a large drawer for the shaved salt. It is designed beautifully with a shaped top, original strap hinge, crossbanding around the front edge & around the drawer. It's in excellent condition with lovely warm patina. It measures 13" wide x 6" deep x 17 1/2" high. Circa 1780 |
