This Gaudy Welsh large jug is in the "Barmouth" pattern with a gadrooned top edge & beautifully shaped handle. The pattern is in a cobalt blue, rust & gold floral. There's a raised relief floral design in the background off-white color on the front & back. The jug is in excellent condition, & measures 9 1/2" high x 8" deep from spout to handle. Circa 1840 |
