This is an English mid-19th century ornate brass watch holder. It's very unique with a helmet at the top with a phoenix bird above it, lions heads on the sides, a ram's head, & more helmets, on a very nicely shaped base. It holds a 1 3/4" watch nicely. The piece measures 6 1/2" wide x 10 3/4" high. Circa 1840 |
