This is an English George III period brass & iron Footman with a beautiful pierced brass top, black iron cabriole legs in the front, & nice brass loop handles on the sides. The Footman was used like a large trivet to hold hot pots near the fireplace. It measures 15" wide x 12 1/2" deep x 12" high. Circa 1800 |
