This is an English mid-19th century small bust of the poet Mathew Prior who lived 1664-1721. It's very nicely done with good detail to the face, a green coat, & a pedestal with mixed shades of green & tan. It's in excellent condition. It is 7 1/2" tall. Circa 1860
