This is an English mid-19th century small brass bank with a repousse raised relief design of grapes & leaves around the middle of the outside, & nicely indented design to the base. Typical of old banks, it is not easy to retrieve the money out of the bank, except by using a knife in the money slot. It measures 4 1/4" diameter x 3 1/2" high. Circa 1860 |
