This is an unusual English mid-19th century carved oak alms tray with wooden flat knob feet, a deeply carved floral design on the 2 ends, & an inset round middle with early felt. The middle would have been used to collect church offerings. It measures 13" long x 8" deep x 1 1/2" high. Circa 1850 |
