Masons Ironstone Jug This is an early English Masons ironstone jug in deep cobalt blue with a floral design in blue, pink, green & lots of gold, all in raised relief. There's a lovely gold rim around the top. It's in excellent condition, & isn't marked except for a tiny impressed "5" & letters that look like "olys," possibly the pattern name. The jug measures 7" high. We estimate its age at circa 1815-1825.

English Ironstone Jug with Pewter Lid This is an English early 19th century large ironstone jug with a red background & a floral design with different shades of blue & gold. It has a wonderful dragon handle with a dark blue design & man's face at the bottom of the handle. The pewter lid is in excellent condition including its top handle. The jug is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There's crazing on the bottom & a tiny number 114, but no maker's mark. It measures 9 1/2" high x 7 1/2" to the handle. Circa 1825-35

Early English Stone China Jug This English early 19th century ironstone jug is in a lovely floral pattern of dark blue, orange, green, peach, and yellow. The design is carried down the handle, and around the inside of the rim of the jug. Its only mark is an early crown with New Stone China written below that. It has an impressed number 12. The colors and design of the jug are very much in the Masons tradition, and a similar jug was listed in a recent sale catalog for Masons ironstone. We estimate the age of the jug to be circa 1830-1835. It measures 7 3/4 inches high.

Early Masons Ironstone Heron Pattern Jug This is an English Masons ironstone jug in the Heron pattern of dark blue, rust, lighter blue, green and cream. The jug is marked "Fenton Stone Works" in a blue border with the number 311 below that. Godden estimates the age at circa 1824. The jug has crazing and some wear on the handle, but it's in perfect condition.

The jug's dragon shaped handle is very special as well as the deep colors of the pattern. There is an impressed mark of "ironstone china," but no maker's mark. We think it's probably Davenport. The jug measures 5 1/2" high. Circa 1820-30
